I wanted something colourful and feminine, but not overly fussy. I wanted a dress that felt relaxed without being shapeless and comfortable without feeling boring. I wanted something I could genuinely wear to a wedding, a holiday, a garden party, a festival or simply out for lunch and feel equally comfortable in every setting.
I also wanted pockets.
Because I feel very strongly that every good dress should have pockets.
The more I searched, the more I realised I couldn't quite find what I was looking for.
