Hey Skybabe! I’m Cara, founder of Cara & The Sky, and I’m so happy you’re here. Below are some of the most common questions I get from fit and fabric to caring for your knitwear. If there’s something you want to know that’s not covered, just drop me a message, I’m always up for a chat 💌

 

 

Where is your knitwear made?

Every single piece is proudly designed and ethically made in the UK 🇬🇧
It’s really important to me to keep production local and support the British Made Economy. That way, I can work closely with my amazing manufacturers, ensure great quality, and reduce our carbon footprint. Plus, you’re supporting British craftsmanship with every purchase.

 

 

What materials do you use?

Our knitwear is made using vegan, cruelty-free yarns, no animal fibres here! 🧶
I carefully select high-quality, soft yarns that feel amazing on your skin while being kind to the planet.

 

 

What size should I choose?

All of our styles are designed with an oversized fit in mind, think relaxed, effortless, and oh-so-comfy ✨


If you’re after that slouchy, off-duty look, stick with your usual size. Want a more fitted feel? You can always size down, check out our size guide or drop me a message, I’m always happy to advise!

Our UK Sizes are:

XS: 4-6 

S: 8-10

M: 12-16

L: 18-22

Do you offer plus sizes?

Our knits are designed with an oversized fit to be flattering across different shapes and sizes. We currently go up to a UK 20–22 and many of our pieces work beautifully across sizes thanks to the relaxed fit.

That said, we’re constantly reviewing how we can be more size-inclusive as the brand grows. Your feedback matters, so if you have sizing suggestions or would love to see a specific fit – let us know!

 


How do I care for my knitwear?

To keep your Cara & The Sky pieces looking their best:

  • Hand wash or use a gentle cycle on a cold setting 🧼

  • Lay flat to dry, no tumble dryers please!

  • Store folded, not hanging, to help your knitwear keep its shape

With a little love and care, your knitwear will stay dreamy season after season.

 

 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! 🌍 We offer international shipping so you can get your hands on our knitwear wherever you are in the world. Shipping costs and times will vary depending on your location, you’ll see all the details at checkout, or click here to find our international shipping costs

 

 

Can I return or exchange my order?

Absolutely, I want you to love your knitwear! 💕

To exchange please email hello@caraandthesky.com

We accept returns and exchanges within 28 days of delivery. Items need to be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition. Check out how to return or exchange here.

 

 

I’ve placed an order, when will it arrive?

Once your order is placed, you’ll get a confirmation email. We aim to ship all orders within 1–2 working days. For UK orders we use Royal Mail tracked 48 so your order will usually arrive within 2 days after its been shipped out.

 

Do you offer gift cards?

We’re primarily an online brand, but we are also stocked in over 250 boutiques and markets around the world! Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Yes, I’ve made sure our packaging is as planet-friendly as possible 🌱
We use recyclable materials and minimal plastic, so you can feel good about what your order comes in.

Our packaging is simple, but this is done on purpose to minimise waste. Our mail bags are made from sugarcane and are 100% recyclable, carbon neutral and made from a sustainable source.

We use two types of eco-friendly polybags that our garments are packaged in:

*EPI degradable plastic which is are 100% recyclable & biodegradable.

*90% recycled plastic and are 100% recyclable.

Our branded tape is made from kraft paper and is 100% recyclable.

Great question! This brand was born from a love of colour, individuality and positive vibes. Every piece is designed to make you feel confident and express your unique style. We’re all about slow fashion, small-batch production, and creating feel-good fashion that lasts.

 

 

Who designs your knitwear?

I do! 👋 Every single style is designed by me, Cara, here in the UK.

I’m inspired by colour, individuality and good vibes, and I love designing bold, feel-good pieces that are made to be treasured. Each design is exclusive to us, so you won’t find our styles anywhere else.

 

 

What is the Resale Marketplace?
