After years of searching, ordering, returning and feeling slightly disappointed, I realised I was looking for a very specific type of dress.
I wanted a floral maxi dress that felt relaxed rather than restrictive. Something colourful and feminine, but easy enough to wear on an ordinary Tuesday. I wanted a dress I could pack for a holiday, wear to a summer wedding, take to the races, throw on for a garden party or wear out for lunch with friends without having to think twice about it.
I wanted beautiful fabric, a flattering shape, pockets and enough personality that it didn't look like every other dress on the high street.
Most importantly, I wanted a dress that made me feel good every time I put it on.
When I couldn't find it, I designed it.
